I usually order the same thing every time — an omelet with cheese and sausage, hash browns with cheese and onions, and toast. Most mornings I don’t even have to say a word — Jesse already knows what I want and starts cooking as soon as I walk in. The food is always fresh, hot, and cooked just right. On top of that, the prices are incredibly affordable considering the high quality and generous portions you get. It’s a perfect mix of great taste, comfort, and value. The service is personal, and the atmosphere makes you feel like family. If you’re looking for a spot with delicious food, friendly faces, and reasonable prices, Jesse’s Diner is the place to go.
Accommodated to a party of 7 by putting tables together and the server was nice, breakfast was delicious.
Good place for a home cooked meal and cozy atmosphere. Cash only is the only downfall. There is an ATM inside. I get the reasoning and for the mom and pop feel is worth it.
Stopped here while visiting from Ohio for my son's navy boot camp graduation. The food was amazing and the service was great. If ever back in this area I would go here again.
its absolutely amazing its really good the pancakes are amazing and the eggs are delicious 10 out of 10 place to go to and the service is great they are very polite and funny. Also really fast food they serve it amazingly👏. Over all the best place to go in Chicago. Me and my family had a gentleman that was amazing and had help from the other waiter and there's always teamwork.
This place has something for everyone. The waitress was extremely nice. I ate some awesome carne asada tacos. Even my picky 13 year old was happy with his meal. Everything was delicious. Sorry my pictures don't do this food justice.
